Qigong (which translates as ‘Life Energy Cultivation’) combines movement, balance, deep rhythmic breathing and calm meditation to promote mental health and inner peace. The ancient Taoist, Buddhist and Confucian philosophers believed that practicing qigong would awaken an individual’s true nature and help them to achieve their true potential. Today it is used throughout China and the rest of the world as a way to relax, to promote a state of inner calm and to encourage self healing.
